Operations Specialist (OTC Derivatives - Middle Office)
- Provide trade support ensuring accuracy of all trade-related matters and trade booking.
- Conduct daily reviews of executed trades to ensure the completeness and compliance of trading data.
- Monitor fund movements, identify and report any abnormal fund flows.
- Monitor and enhance control processes related to regulatory reporting.
- Communicate with internal departments and external parties including clients, brokers and depositories to promptly resolve daily operational issues such as trade discrepancies.
- Collaborate daily tasks with other operations teams, such as trade settlement, corporate actions etc.
- Follow established procedures and perform appropriate controls.
- Support ongoing processes and control improvements and system enhancement projects.
- Perform additional duties as required by the company.
- TRS, Pnotes, Structured Notes, Cash Equity, Futures, FX, Rates, Commodities, SBL, Options, Fixed Income, Repo, OTC Derivatives
- Master's degree or above, finance, economics, accounting, law, computer science, or related majors preferred.
- Strong analytical and intuitive skills
- Motivated and committed to excellence; positive attitude with "can do" work ethic
- Positive thinking and able to manage pressure when facing difficulties and challenges
- Ability to work as a team player, and meet individual timeliness and accuracy goals
- Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment and actively initiate projects to improve the process
- Proven organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Demonstrated initiative, problem-solving skills and willingness to take on additional responsibilities
- Strong risk and control mindset and demonstrated ability to multi-task and make appropriate decisions under rigid deadlines
- Ability to work independently and willing to take on ownership
- Robust communications skills
- Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese is a must
- Good knowledge in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel & VBA
