Research Assistant Professor / Post-doctoral Fellow in the Department of Social Work and Social

Position

Applications are invited for appointment as Research AssistantProfessor in the Department of Social Work and Social Administration (Ref:.536128), to commence as soon as possible, on a one‑year temporary basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.

Qualifications

Applicants should possess a PhD in Mental Health, Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Social Work or other related disciplines and demonstrate:

• Track record of publications;
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in both English and Chinese, including Cantonese;
• Strong problem‑solving, organisational and administrative abilities;
• Attention to detail and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Prior experience in postdoctoral research, project management, coordinating and delivering professional training within the field of mental health‑related research would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

The appointee will work in the HKJC‑funded mental health project, contributing to academic publications, building research partnerships with international researchers and local mental health service providers, and learning the implementation of the research project.
