Post-Doctoral Fellow in AI Agents for BIM and Construction

The Department of Urban Planning and Design invites applications for Post-Doctoral Fellow positions in AI Agents for BIM and Construction (several posts) (Ref. no. 536609). Appointments will commence as soon as possible, with the possibility of renewal based on performance and funding availability.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research and develop AI agents/skills applied to BIM/IFC and construction workflows

Requirements

• A PhD degree
• AI-native
• Highly fluent with tools like Codex or Claude Code (or equivalents), and able to leverage them to learn and solve new and complex problems rapidly
• Strong judgment, able to quickly evaluate what works, what doesn’t, and why
• If you can think, prototype, and build effectively with AI, we want to hear from you
