Primary Responsibilities
- Receive trade instructions from PMs/RMs and coordinate execution via approved counterparties (e.g., private banks)
- Perform pre-trade due diligence checks, including mandate/suitability (where applicable) and credit limit/exposure validation.
- Ensure trade orders are executed and processed properly; track order status and follow up on pending/amended/cancelled trades.
- Ensure accurate trade capture, confirmations and reconciliation to avoid incidents and dealing errors; elevate discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain strong market awareness to support execution timing and cut-offs, and maintain complete documentation and audit trails.
- Maintain working knowledge of clients’ profiles and RFO service offerings to support coordination and respond to client queries when required (non-advisory).
Requirements
- Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related discipline.
- 3–5 years’ experience in trade execution, dealing operations, trading operations, or execution support, preferably within a financial institution (e.g., private bank or asset manager); family office experience is a plus.
- Experience coordinating execution with external counterparties (e.g., private banks, brokers, custodians).
- Fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese, both written and spoken.
- Strong team player with a flexible mindset and solid interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented, able to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Candidates with prior experience as an Assistant Relationship Manager will also be considered.
