Client Services Associate - Loan Agency Operations

• Manage and organise the daily workload, ensuring activities are performed within defined deadlines
• Review transaction documentation from an operational perspective
• Collaborate and coordinate with team members to cover operational aspects of loan closing processes
• Manage funds flow between Borrowers and Lenders
• Set up transaction static data in internal loan databases, including One View and Solvas
• Manage drawdowns, rollovers, rate sets, secondary transfers, payments, prepayments, redemptions and maturities
• Receive and check SSIs and complete call-back procedures where necessary
• Calculate and ensure payment of principal repayments, interest, commitment and other fees, including PIK and non-pro rata events
• Arrange payments via JPM, DBS and other online banking platforms
• Reconcile client and transactional bank accounts
• Handle loan transfer requests, ensure compliance with transaction documentation and collect transfer fees
• Deal with client queries in a timely manner
• Handle external audit requests
• Escalate relevant matters to the Team Leader and/or Managers
• Perform due diligence regarding potential fraud, money laundering, and financial and reputational risk to GLAS
• Develop processes and procedures with the Team Manager

Requirements

• A degree in a finance or business-related field
• Solid knowledge and experience within loans agency, work-outs, restructuring or complex credit situations
• Knowledge of syndicated loans
• Ability to carry out loan related calculations
• Loan documentation review experience
• Good technology skills and ability to work with loan administration and payment systems
• Proven ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
• Organisational and time management skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Previous experience of using Solvas desirable (but not essential)
• Professional approach
