Real Estate Analyst, Real Assets

Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Managing Director & Head of Real Estate Asia Pacific, assist the Real Estate Investment team in the identification, selection, evaluation, and ongoing management of relationships and Real Estate Investments across the Asia Pacific region.
• Under the direction of the Managing Director, develop an understanding of the investment decision‑making and partner selection process.
• Examine potential investments and partnerships (including joint ventures, club deals, and funds) as well as tax and financial structures using models and a variety of quantitative and qualitative analytical tools.
• Assist in the underwriting process of Real Estate investments.
• Compile data and financial information.
• Conduct real estate market research.
• Participate in the monitoring and management of the investment portfolio.
• Perform other relevant duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, real estate investing, or related financial analysis roles.
• Undergraduate or advanced degree program in Finance, Real Estate, or a related discipline; candidates with a relevant technical background in real estate development or a related academic degree have an advantage.
• CPA, CFA, or CFA Candidate is advantageous.
• Real Estate knowledge in Asia Pacific markets.
• Strong interest in technology and related fields.
• Strong quantitative, financial, and analytical skills (DCF and financial modelling).
• Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills; fluency in Japanese or Korean is advantageous.
• Solid understanding of MS Office, Excel, and PowerPoint; familiarity with Argus is preferred.
