OPERATIONS OFFICER

About the role

Oversee the full operation and supervise production processes to ensure production efficiency and product quality with minimum reworks. Ensure reliable production planning, cost estimate and materials utilization. Monitor product standards and implement quality control programmes. Ensure on-time production and delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the full operation and supervise production processes to ensure production efficiency and product quality with minimum reworks
• Ensure reliable production planning, cost estimate and materials utilization
• Monitor product standards and implement quality control programmes
• Ensure on-time production and delivery
• Conduct factory work study and implement industrial engineering (IE) system
• Liaise and work with concerned parties, Head Office, Merchandisers, Customers, Suppliers, on production and delivery issues
• Ensure health and safety guidelines are followed
• Identify training needs of workers and develop existing training programmes
• Supervise and review workers performance, and motivate teamwork
• Ensure achievement of production targets

About you

• Degree/Diploma in Wrist Watch Manufacturing with at least 10 years solid working experience in Watch Manufacturing and Assembling Line
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to make production and logistics planning and ensure their prompt execution
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong leadership ability and able to work independently
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
• Knowledge in PC and use of MS Office and ERP system
• A person of initiative, reliability and honesty
