Job Purpose:


Responsible for overall management of all Insurance Services products (both Life & General Insurance) including product development, ongoing product maintenance, and formulation of marketing strategies, execution and evaluation of marketing programs and coordination of client events.



Major Responsibilities:


• Support the strategic planning for effective business expansion, product management and development for insurance services


• Develop business plans to drive Insurance business in order to meet business targets


• Support in and ensure effective end-to-end management of new product launch, product due diligence, product selection and ongoing product maintenance for Life and General Insurance products


• Grow insurance business by developing customer-driven products based on identified customer segments, their needs and market developments


• Support in and ensure effective planning, implementation and management of various marketing campaigns and business initiatives with the objectives to drive customer and business growth including acquisition, cross-selling and portfolio building, perform campaign evaluation & review as planned, ensure efficient use of the approved marketing budget


• Collaborate with internal & external stakeholders (including insurance partners) on product launch plan, product due diligence management and product selection, marketing campaigns and governance, client events and seminars and lead generation campaigns to expand penetration in existing customer base, and acquire new customers


• Work with branches, sales, other relevant business units to develop integrated distribution initiatives to expand the business portfolio


• Assist supervisor in handling projects related to insurance products, marketing and bancassurance partnership management, providing ad-hoc support as assigned


• Participate in the regular work group meetings with insurance partners and follow up on the actions required


• Observe and follow the relevant regulatory requirement to ensure that the tasks are carried out appropriately



Incumbent Requirements:


A) Knowledge, Skill & Attributes


• Strong business sense and customer driven with analytical mind and ability to meet / exceed business targets assigned


• Aggressive, innovative and result oriented


• Dynamic and strong market awareness


• Excellent interpersonal and people management skills


• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua)


B) Academic and Professional Qualification


• Degree holder in Finance or Marketing or Insurance related disciplines


• With relevant professional qualification is an advantage


C) Training and Relevant Experiences


• Minimum 7-8 years of marketing, product development experience in insurance field, preferably with Bancassurance exposure


• Experience in managing Insurance services products and distributing through multi-channels
