About the Role

As a Store Coach, Merchandise & Inventory Excellence, you will act as the key link between Stores and Head Office, translating business data into actions that improve product performance, inventory productivity, and the overall consumer experience.
This role combines hands-on retail exposure with business analysis, offering a unique opportunity to work closely with both store teams and functional partners across Merchandising, Planning, and Allocation.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Performance & Business Analysis
Prepare and maintain regular retail reports, dashboards, and performance analysis for Retail Leadership.
Monitor sales trends, inventory productivity, sell-through rates, markdown performance, and key retail KPIs.
Conduct product performance reviews and identify opportunities to improve business results.
Analyze consumer demand, sales trends, and inventory data to provide actionable recommendations.
Support data-driven decision-making across the retail organization.
Inventory & Product Management
Monitor stock health and inventory performance across stores.
Recommend and coordinate stock replenishment, transfers, markdowns, and inventory optimization initiatives.
Partner with store teams to ensure the right product assortment and availability.
Support inventory balancing and consolidation opportunities to maximize sales performance.
Seasonal Product Planning Support
Gather and consolidate retail feedback on future assortments and product opportunities.
Support pre-season planning discussions, assortment reviews, and demand forecasting activities.
Provide post-launch performance analysis and product insights.
Stakeholder Management & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner closely with Retail Leadership, Merchandise Planning, Allocation, Merchandising, and Store teams.
Serve as a key point of contact for product-related discussions and follow-up actions.
Influence stakeholders through data, insights, and fact-based recommendations.
Project Support & Continuous Improvement
Support retail strategic projects and business initiatives.
Participate in business reviews, process enhancement activities, and reporting automation projects.
Drive operational excellence through data-driven recommendations and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience in Retail Operations, Merchandise Planning, Buying, Allocation, Inventory Management, Business Analytics, or related functions.
Advanced Excel proficiency, including Pivot Tables, advanced formulas, data analysis, and modelling. Power BI experience is highly preferred.
Experience as a Store Management or Retail Operations professional will be a strong advantage.
Ability to connect store operations with merchandising, inventory, and commercial decision-making.
Strong business acumen and commercial mindset.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations.
Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
Strong ownership mentality with a proactive, continuous-improvement mindset.
Ability to work across both store and office environments, with flexibility to support retail store operations based on business needs, including shift schedules, weekends, evenings, and public holidays when required.
