A leading global FMCG firm. They are currently looking for a Trade Operations professional to join the team. They have an established international business with operations across multiple markets, offering stable and reasonable working hours.

Job Description

As an Operation Specialist, your main responsibilities will include:

• Handling a high volume of international shipping transactions and documentation, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.


• Managing trade finance documentation, particularly Letters of Credit (L/C) and Documents against Payment (D/P).


• Coordinating daily shipping and international trade operations to ensure smooth and efficient execution.


• Reviewing and maintaining accurate shipping, trade, and transaction records.


• Liaising with internal teams, banks, vendors, and external parties on shipping documentation and operational matters.


• Monitoring transaction and documentation progress to ensure deadlines are met.


• Identifying and resolving documentation or operational issues promptly.


• Supporting other ad hoc operational duties as required.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Operation Specialist should have:

• A genuine passion for international trading, shipping, and trade operations, with an interest in developing a long-term career in this area.


• Degree holder in a relevant discipline.


• Previous hands-on experience in high-volume shipping and/or trade finance operations, with solid knowledge of L/C and D/P documentation.


• Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, with strong communication skills for coordinating with different internal and external stakeholders.


• Detail-oriented, organised, and comfortable working in a transaction-driven environment where accuracy and deadlines are important.
