SM/ AD, Alternative Investments

• Support Portfolio Managers in evaluating, monitoring, and managing alternative investment portfolios, with a focus on private equity, private credit, private debt, and other illiquid assets.
• Conduct investment due diligence, credit analysis, financial modelling, and risk assessments on new and existing investment opportunities.
• Provide strategic insights and portfolio recommendations to optimize risk-adjusted returns and align with the company's investment objectives.
• Monitor portfolio performance, market developments, macroeconomic trends, and emerging risks across alternative asset classes.
• Partner with investment, risk, actuarial, finance, and compliance teams to ensure investments comply with internal guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare investment committee materials, portfolio reviews, and management reports.
• Support portfolio construction, asset allocation discussions, and manager selection processes where applicable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline; CFA or equivalent qualification preferred.
• 8-15+ years of experience in alternative investments (expertise in private credit is mostly welcome) from sizable asset management or insurance company.
• Strong knowledge of private credit markets, direct lending, structured credit, or fund investments.
• Solid analytical skills, including financial statement analysis, credit assessment, and investment due diligence.
• Experience gained from insurance companies, asset managers, private credit funds, investment banks, or institutional investors will be highly regarded.
• Strong stakeholder management and presentation skills, with the ability to engage senior investment professionals and committees.
