Fund Operations VP/ Director - Growing Asset Management firm

We are seeking a seasoned professional to manage full lifecycle operations for public bond and equity funds. This role covers pre‑launch preparation, system setup and testing, valuation model development, daily trade and cash/expense settlement, annual audit coordination, and ongoing support for regulatory requirements within the operations department.

Job Description

1. Fund lifecycle operations : Oversee pre‑launch preparation, system setup/testing, valuation model exploration, daily settlement, cash/expense processing, and audit support.
2. Valuation reporting : Prepare, reconcile, and confirm daily valuation reports with fund administrators.
3. Account management : Assist with opening and maintaining counterparty and bank accounts, including AML annual reviews.
4. System maintenance : Update and maintain system information for public bond and equity funds.
5. Process documentation : Draft and update operational process manuals for public funds.
6. Stakeholder coordination : Collaborate with custodians, fund administrators, and front‑office teams to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree or above; strong financial or accounting background preferred.
2. Holders of CPA, ACCA, CFA, FRM are highly regarded.
3. 10+ years in settlement, fund operations, or fund administration; fund accounting experience preferred; With minimum 2 years in public fund operations, including audit and full cycle management.
4. Familiarity with Linedata, MiddleX, Geneva, and regulatory reporting requirements.
5. Proficiency in Excel (VBA), Python, Access, and other data processing tools.
6. Strong team spirit, learning agility, accountability, and meticulous attention to detail.
