Senior Accountant, Private Equity, 30-45k

Our client, a private equity firm, is seeking a Finance Operations / Fund Accounting Officer to support its finance team.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily payment processing, including fund and SPV payments.


• Prepare monthly journal entries, reconciliations, and routine accounting records.


• Support month-end closing and follow up on outstanding items.


• Prepare semi-annual FRR 9 reports.


• Review payment documentation, approvals, and internal-control compliance.


• Liaise with fund administrators, banks, auditors, and internal stakeholders.


• Maintain accurate finance records and support ad hoc projects.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.


• Over 5 years relevant experience.


• Relevant experience in accounting, fund administration, private equity, asset management, or financial services.


• Familiarity with fund structures, SPVs, payments, general ledger entries, and month-end closing.


• FRR 9 reporting experience is an advantage.


• Detail-oriented, organised, and able to meet deadlines.


• Good English and Chinese communication skills preferred.
