Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Chef role based in Hong Kong SAR. The Chef will plan and prepare meals for the family, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks but not in this order on a daily basis ensuring menus reflect the family’s preferences, dietary requirements, and seasonal ingredients. Responsibilities include, managing kitchen inventory, and maintaining a clean, organized, and safe kitchen. The Chef will develop new dishes, and adapt recipes as requested. The role also includes occasional meal preparation for guests, coordination with household staff for events, and flexibility in working hours based on the family’s schedule.

Qualifications

• Proven professional experience as a Chef in private households
• Strong skills in menu planning, food presentation, and preparation of diverse international and Indian cuisines.
• Knowledge of nutrition, special diets, and ability to accommodate dietary restrictions and preferences.
• Excellent kitchen management skills, including food safety, hygiene practices, and inventory control.
• Discreet, trustworthy, and respectful of privacy, with a service-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work independently, adapt to changing schedules, and maintain high standards under pressure.
• Relevant culinary education or certification is preferred.
• Fluency in English/Hindi or both additional language skills and familiarity with local Hong Kong markets are an advantage.
