In addition, as part of our consultancy services, we conduct measurements of environmental factors, which serve as important scientific backup to better understand the potential risk exposures within a premise.
The responsibilities of this role include all aspects of running and coordinating risk consultancy services and on-site risk surveys across various industry sectors, especially the social services industry, as well as engineering projects. This may involve providing clients with advice and expertise on hazard and operational risks, third-party liability risks, employee risk exposures, safety, natural catastrophe hazards, and property damage affecting buildings and other assets.
We will count on you to:
- Conduct risk evaluation surveys of clients’ assets to identify and assess facility risk exposures to occupants and assets.
- Perform regular site risk inspections and routine safety audits to evaluate risk-related conditions.
- Conduct risk identification and gap analyses on clients’ assets, safety provisions, working environments, and building services systems, comparing them against local Hong Kong regulations and codes of practice and/or global standards such as NFPA. Provide recommendations to address any non-compliance issues, where applicable.
- Conduct site measurements of environmental data, including but not limited to ventilation rates, illuminance, and floor conditions.
- Prepare reports summarizing survey findings and site visit information.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to meet agreed deadlines and submission requirements.
- Address clients’ engineering- and risk-related questions and concerns promptly and effectively.
