SEO Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies, encompassing technical SEO, on-page optimisation, content development, and off-page initiatives tailored to each client's specific KPIs and business objectives, while maintaining full accountability for delivering measurable growth.
• Conduct rigorous keyword research, competitor analysis, and backlink reviews using platforms such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, and Screaming Frog.
• Leverage advanced AI tools, such as Gemini, ChatGPT, and Perplexity, to augment research capabilities, including trend forecasting, query analysis, user intent modelling, and large-scale content ideation.
• Track, analyse, and report on SEO performance using Google Analytics (GA4), Google Search Console, and other analytics platforms, translating data into clear reports and identifying areas for improvement.
• Perform website audits, on-page optimisation, and content marketing initiatives, and manage websites via CMS platforms.
• Work closely with content and account servicing teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into all projects.
• Stay up to date on the latest search engine algorithm updates, industry trends, and the impact of AI on search (e.g. Google AI Overviews), and proactively share these insights during internal team discussions to drive continuous learning.
• An on-job training program will be provided.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Data Science, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience in an SEO-focused role. Candidates with more extensive experience will be considered for a Senior SEO Specialist position.
• Hands-on experience with Google Analytics and SEO tools (e.g. Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, Search Console) is advantageous.
• A strong interest in leveraging AI tools for research, analysis, or content generation is highly valued.
• Understanding of, or interest in developing, Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) principles, including structuring content for AI citation and monitoring brand visibility across AI answer engines, is a strong advantage.
• Analytical and data-driven mindset, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and formulate actionable, client-specific recommendations.
• Good project management and multitasking skills, with attention to detail.
• Good presentation skills in both Chinese and English; fluent in spoken Cantonese and English, with working proficiency in Mandarin.
• A "can-do" attitude, intellectual curiosity, and a genuine passion for digital marketing and technology.
