About Our Client

Our client is a well-established and reputable business with a long-standing presence in Hong Kong. Due to continued business needs, they are seeking a capable and hands-on Senior Accountant to join their finance team.

Job Description

• Handle full set of accounts and month-end closing activities
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
• Perform accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, and general ledger functions
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
• Prepare schedules and supporting documents for annual audit and tax compliance
• Ensure accounting records are maintained accurately and in compliance with company policies and statutory requirements
• Liaise with external auditors, bankers, and service providers
• Support process improvement initiatives and finance-related projects
• Assist with ad hoc assignments as required

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines
• Professional qualification such as HKICPA, ACCA, CPA Australia, or equivalent is preferred
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably with exposure to full set accounting
• Strong knowledge of Hong Kong accounting standards and statutory requirements
• Experience in handling audits and financial reporting
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
• Self-motivated, detail-minded, and able to work independently
• Good command of written and spoken English and Cantonese
