Clerical Officer I/II in the Department of Media and Communication [Re f. R/275/26]
Duties
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to departmental personnel matters, including recruitment activities, personnel review exercises, and other human resources functions;
- Assist in departmental financial matters including procurement, payment and staff reimbursement;
- Support daily office operations, including the management of office supplies and coordination of departmental facilities administration;
- Assist the Head by providing administrative support, including scheduling meetings, managing the diary, arranging duty visits, and coordinating correspondence; and
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 5 passes in HKCEE/HKDSEE including English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics with at least 2 years’ relevant experience;
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment, with good communication, inter-personal and problem-solving skills, and a strong sense of responsibility;
- High proficiency in MS Office applications (including Excel, PowerPoint and Access); and
- Ability to work independently and being attentive to details are required.
- Preference will be given to candidates with relevant experience in human resources administration, procurement, and financial management.
Candidates with more than 6 years’ relevant working experience may be considered for appointment as Clerical OfficerI.
Salary and Conditions of Service
Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes.
