The Job

1. Tax Compliance and Reporting: Manage profits tax compliance, including preparation and review of tax computations, tax returns and supporting schedules for multiple jurisdictions (e.g., Hong Kong, Macau, Bermuda). Review tax provisions and deferred tax calculations under IFRS. Support financial statement disclosures relating to taxation.
2. Insurance Tax Advisory Support: Provide tax advice business initiatives, corporate restructuring, investments and cross-border transactions. Evaluate tax implications of new regulatory and accounting developments. Review agreements and business proposals from a tax perspective.
3. International Tax and Transfer Pricing Support: Transfer pricing compliance and documentation requirements. Assist in the implementation and monitoring of BEPS, Pillar Two and other international tax developments. Coordinate with group tax teams on cross-border tax matters. Support tax residency, treaty and withholding tax matters.

The Person CPA or equivalent professional qualification.

Minimum 4-8 years of tax experience, preferably in insurance or financial services. Strong knowledge of Hong Kong, Macau and Bermuda corporate tax, Global Minimum Tax, and insurance-specific tax regimes. Familiarity with IFRS17 and RBC regulatory requirements. Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills. More experience may be considered as Manager.
