Post-doctoral Fellow – Division of Public Health Laboratory Sciences, School of Public Health

Ref: 536763 (To commence as soon as possible on a one-year or two-year temporary term contract, with possible renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance).

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to study the effect of pre-existing immunity to influenza infection and transmission.
• Collect and analyze data from flow cytometry, T cell immunology, serology assays, and other relevant experiments.
• Handle microbial pathogens at biosafety level 2 (BSL‑2).

Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent doctoral degree in microbiology, immunology, or related field, with a proven research track record.
• Self‑motivated team player with critical thinking skills.
• Strong communication skills and good command of spoken and written English.
• Experience in flow cytometry, T cell immunology, serology assays, and BSL‑2 microbial work is advantageous.
