工作職責

Job Description 1. Assist in defining process flows, operational requirements, and engineering specifications to improve current plant performance and efficiency 2. Assist in routine maintenance work planning, critical spare parts sourcing, and inventory management, while coordinating cross-departmental process plant activities 3. Execute routine documentation, data logging, and other technical or operational ad-hoc duties as assigned to support facility continuity 4. Support on-site process optimization and/or troubleshooting through engineering evaluation 5. Support internal machinery optimization, modification projects, and reliability checks to minimize equipment downtime 6. Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned Qualifications 1. Degree holder in Chemical/Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or equivalent 2. Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese 3. Holder of Construction Safety (Green Card) certificate is an advantage 4. Other qualifications relative to industrial field are preferred Additional Information Requirements: 1. Min. 1 year of hands-on experience operating, troubleshooting, or engineering within a wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) or landfill leachate treatment plant (LTP) is highly advantageous. 2. Strong in analytical methods 3. Detail-oriented with a critical degree of accuracy regarding analysis 4. Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently and under pressure

The South East New Territories Landfill (SENT Landfill) is one of the three strategic landfills in HongKong. The contract to develop and manage SENT Landfill was awarded to Green Valley Landfill, Ltd(GVL) in August 1993.

Complementing the development of the Hong Kong SAR Government’s waste management policy, theSENT Landfill was designated to receive only construction waste since 2016. In 2017, it started to exportlandfill gas to the TownGas plant for processing and injection into their grid, hence turning waste intoresources and providing a new source of energy to Hong Kong. At the end of 2019, GVL commencedconstruction of an extension of SENT Landfill as the original site was nearing full capacity. Theextension will provide an additional capacity of 6.5 million cubic metres of waste.
