# Freelance Photographer About HEIMA HEIMA is a Hong Kong lifestyle select store inspired by the idea of **“Sea Touches Shore”** and **“#see good in small things.”** We curate thoughtfully selected lifestyle, fashion, homeware, personal care and travel products from over 100 international brands. We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented **Freelance Photographer** to create high-quality visual content for our new products, retail stores, website and social media platforms. Responsibilities - Photograph newly arrived products, including product details, lifestyle settings and usage scenarios. - Capture the visual atmosphere, interior, displays and daily details of HEIMA’s Kwun Tong and Causeway Bay stores. - Produce promotional photos and short-form videos for our stores, website and social media channels. - Assist with planning the visual direction, composition, lighting and styling of each shoot. - Film short promotional videos featuring products, store interiors and brand stories. - Perform basic photo retouching, colour correction, cropping and file organisation. - Perform basic video editing, including cutting, colour adjustment, subtitles, music and social media formatting. - Work closely with the HEIMA team to understand campaign requirements and develop suitable visual concepts. - Help prepare products, props and shooting locations when necessary. Requirements - Experience in product, lifestyle, fashion, commercial or retail photography. - Good understanding of cameras, lenses, lighting and photography workflows. - Experience in short-form video production and editing for social media. - Proficient in Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve or similar software. - Strong visual sense and an interest in design, fashion, lifestyle and concept store culture. - Able to capture product details and communicate brand stories through visual content. - Self-motivated, responsible, organised and attentive to detail. - Able to work independently and communicate effectively with the HEIMA team. - Applicants with their own photography and video equipment will be considered an advantage. - Applicants without formal qualifications but with a strong portfolio and genuine enthusiasm for photography and local select store culture are also welcome to apply.
