VP of Client Service - Selby Jennings

Our client is a globally recognised investment management firm with a longstanding track record of helping institutional investors achieve their financial objectives. With a strong presence across Asia Pacific and a diverse institutional client base, they are seeking an experienced Client Services Senior Manager to join their Hong Kong team.

This is a high-profile client-facing position supporting institutional investors across Asia Pacific. Working closely with senior sales and relationship management professionals, you will be responsible for managing the full client lifecycle, including onboarding, ongoing servicing, operational query management, and relationship support.

You will serve as a key point of contact for institutional clients, ensuring an exceptional service experience while coordinating with multiple internal stakeholders across operations, risk, compliance, and product teams.

• Act as the primary contact for institutional clients on operational, administrative, and servicing matters.
• Partner closely with Relationship Managers and Sales Directors to support client retention and business growth.
• Manage end-to-end onboarding processes, including KYC, account opening, and business qualification activities.
• Coordinate and resolve client enquiries relating to operational due diligence questionnaires, reporting requests, cash flow processing, and account maintenance.
• Build strong relationships with regional stakeholders across Asia Pacific markets.
• Drive best practices and process improvements to enhance client servicing efficiency and operational effectiveness.
• Participate in strategic projects, system enhancements, and regional initiatives impacting institutional clients.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal governance standards.

• Minimum 5 years of experience within asset management, banking, custody, trustee services, fund administration, insurance, or related financial services environments.
• Strong understanding of institutional investment management and investment operations.
• Experience supporting institutional clients, fund onboarding, account management, or client servicing functions.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to engage senior internal and external counterparts.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent English and Mandarin communication skills are essential.
• SFC licensing or equivalent regulatory qualification would be advantageous.
