Job Description

• Partner closely with the COO and the firm's executive leadership to help scale and institutionalise a world-class quantitative hedge fund platform, with a focus on finance, control, and operating robustness.
• Work closely with the COO and General Counsel on the design, implementation, and ongoing refinement of the group's global corporate, fund, and operating structure, including management entities, regulated operating entities, employment companies, and service companies.
• Build, lead, and continuously enhance the Group Finance function, covering corporate accounting, fund accounting, taxation, treasury, procurement, budgeting, financial reporting, audit, and finance operations.
• Establish institutional-grade financial controls, policies, governance standards, and reporting frameworks across the group's management companies, regulated entities, service companies, and fund structures.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes across relevant entities, including management reporting, consolidated reporting, statutory reporting, and executive or board reporting packs.

The Successful Applicant

• Solid finance and accounting experience, including significant time in senior leadership roles such as CFO, Finance Director, Controller, or equivalent.
• Prior experience at large, reputable hedge funds, multi-manager platforms, proprietary trading groups, or similar institutions with institutional-grade controls and governance.
• Demonstrated responsibility for both management company and fund-level finance, including corporate accounting, fund accounting, reporting, tax, and treasury.
