About the Team

The Finance team acts as a central nervous system for the firm’s Hong Kong operations. About the Job

• Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial statements for the securities business.

• Support the preparation of regulatory filings and returns in compliance with SFC Financial Resources Rules (FRR).

• Perform daily accounting operations, including expense processing, general ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations.

• Collaborate with external auditors during the annual audit process and assist in the preparation of tax computations.

• Participate in ad‑hoc projects, such as system enhancements and the implementation of new accounting standards.

• Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure the accuracy of financial data and the integrity of internal controls.

Qualifications & Experience Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

• CPA / ACCA (or finalist) status is highly preferred.

• 2 to 4 years of experience in financial services audit (Big 4) or a similar finance role within a securities firm.

• Strong understanding of HKFRS and basic knowledge of the Hong Kong regulatory environment.

• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) is an advantage.

• Fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin is mandatory for reporting and stakeholder communication.
