We are currently seeking a high-caliber professional to join our team as Assistant Portfolio Financial Services Manager .

Principal responsibilities

• Provide support to monitor and detect any exceptions to investment guidelines, regulatory codes, Bank Group guidelines and relevant risk measurements to maintain HSVM compliance in the industry as well as competence in the market
• Prepare reports to monitor asset allocation and fund income with respect to the expanded investment activities according to the latest regulatory requirement
• Develop and update monitoring tools to cater for ongoing changes in the market and/or new financial instrument application
• Perform reconciliation or equivalent reasonableness checking to validate NAV figures for fair investment fund valuation
• Knowledge and experience in listed and over-the-counter derivatives are preferred

Requirements

• University degree in a related discipline or other relevant qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience and sound knowledge of asset management operations and investment products, preferably investment compliance monitoring
• (Candidates who are more qualified could be considered the title as Portfolio Financial Services Manager.)
• Proficiency in both English and Chinese, with strong knowledge of spreadsheet application software an advantage
• Good knowledge of Bloomberg AIM or experience with investment compliance regulation coding is a big advantage
• Strong self-motivation, with ability to work independently and under pressure
• Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes
