Assistant Mechanical Engineering Manager - Audio / Earphone - ETERNITY CONSULTANTS (HK) Ltd

Responsibilities

• Oversee and ensure the successful execution of crucial mechanical engineering processes throughout the product development cycle, including ID analysis, conceptualization and design, prototype formulation, and manufacturing processes.
• Design mechanical components and assemblies emphasizing reliability, and maintainability.
• Prepare, modify, and release CAD drawings to verify the mechanical design’s fit, form, and function.
• Handle OEM/ODM projects with overseas customers, ensuring effective communication and timely delivery of project milestones.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to align project requirements and drive successful project outcomes.
• Perform engineering calculations to determine the size and strength of components. Solve design problems and check computations, contributing to the analytical design.
• Interface with suppliers and subject matter experts to identify and address technical risks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• A minimum of 6 years in mechanical design in headphone, audio, consumer electronic in trading.
• Extensive knowledge of plastic materials and experience in plastic injection.
• Solid knowledge and experience in small electronic device design.
• Expertise in using 3D CAD systems (Pro‑E/SolidWorks preferred).
• Fluent communication skills in both English and Chinese, enabling effective collaboration with stakeholders.
